The town of Suhl, location of the registered office of Lubrimet GmbH, is situated picturesquely in the Thuringian Forest, the "green heart" of Germany. Suhl is world-famous for its tradition of more than 150 years in the manufacture of hunting and sporting weapons.

The production of these high-precision weapons requires the use of modern metalworking fluids, such as soluble and neat oils. Based on these traditions and in the process of continual development of technology, Lubrimet GmbH is now in a position to provide the customers with a wide range of metalworking fluids.

In close cooperation with customers and application engineers, our experienced research and development team has been developing and compiling product concepts that meet the highest industrial standards as well as occupational safety, environment and health protection requirements.

Besides the modern soluble and neat cutting fluids for the metalworking industry, the product range of Lubrimet includes also rust preventives, greases, packages for metalworking fluids, as well as service and maintenance products. Today, all the specialized products of Lubrimet can be widely used not only for different metal cutting processes, but also for e.g. metal forming operations with highest technical requirements.

The company location from 1870 in Suhl where Mr. Geheimrat Hieronymus Merkel started the business with 18 employees.
